dollars/gifts for smiles

Giving a gift shows that you care more about seeing someone happy than spending the money on yourself.  Just the simple act of seeing someone smile from something you got them is worth more than having that money in your pocket. Im personally a someone who would rather spend there money on others and help them out because knowing that person needed it or even just wanted it and seeing how it can change there entire mood is worth more than money.  If everyone could just give a gift everyday to someone small or big expensive or just a nice comment it could change the world profoundly. What would you do if everyday you new someone was going to  give you a gift weather its and actual object a kind gesture or comment, it could turn a bad day great for someone.  I think it would also do more than add one little bright spot here and there, i believe it could change peoples social ways. It would turn into more than one kind gift it would multiply because everyone would be giving not focused in themselves but others. A smile or a dollar?
